Reel Drive Gear Adjustment

1. Remove reel gear cover.

2. Loosen motor mount cap screws (A).

3. Slide motor and drive gear (B) down until gear rests firmly on larger, driven gear (C).

4. Raise motor and drive gear 1.5 mm (1/16 in.) and tighten cap screws to specification.

Specification

5. Rotate reel to verify there are no tight spots between gears. If tight areas are encountered, loosen cap screws, slightly raise motor and drive gear, and retighten cap screws to specification.

6. Install reel gear cover.
