Corn Head Attached to the Combine

Check local width laws before transporting.

All corn heads can be transported by leaving it attached to the combine. It is recommended that you use a trailer to transport the 1293 and other 90 Series Corn Heads. If the corn head is attached to the combine for transport, proceed as follows:

1. Empty grain tank.

2. Swing unloading auger back and secure with transport brace.

3. Turn on combine flashing warning light, unless prohibited by local law.

4. Couple combine brake pedals together.

5. Raise corn head to a position that will keep it off the ground but still allow good visibility.

6. Drive at a speed that is safe for conditions.

IMPORTANT: See your combine operator's manual for the specific tires required on an 8820, 9600, 9610, 9650 or 9750 STS combine when operating this header.

30.5L 16PR, 73 x 44.00-32 high-flotation tires or 18.4-38 dual wheels are required on 8820 Combine when operating with 1293 Header.

68 x 50-32 16 PR HF3 Flotation tires or 20.8-42 in. two star cleat (R-1) radial wide spaced dual wheels, 30.5-32 in. 16 PR cleat (R-1), 800/65r32 (r-1w), 35.5-32 in. 12 PR cane/rice (R-2) or 18.4R-42 in. two star cleat (R-1) radial, wide spaced dual wheels are required on 9600, 9610, 9650 or 9750 STS combine when operating with 1293 Corn Head.
