Removing Lock-Out Washers for Flex Cutterbar Operation

CAUTION: Always lower the safety stop when working under platform. Set parking brake, shut off engine and remove key.

Raise platform to maximum height and lower safety stop.

Lower reel lift safety stops.

Starting at either end of platform, push up on skid plate (A).

Remove nut (C) and lock-out washer (B).

CAUTION: Cutterbar will drop to its lower stop when lock-out washer is removed.

Remove remaining lock-out washers.

Save lock-out washers, round head bolts and nuts for rigid operation.

IMPORTANT: Do not store round head bolts and nuts in cutterbar for flex operation or cutterbar will bind and will not flex.

After completing work, raise safety stops.
