Cutterbar Drive Case

Depending upon the expected air temperature range, use oil viscosity shown on the adjoining temperature chart.

Use one of the following oils in the cutterbar drive gear case:

John Deere API GL-5 Gear Lubricant Oil meeting performance requirements of:

  • API Service Classification GL-5
  • Military Specification MIL-L-2105B
  • Military Specification MIL-L-2105C

Capacity of case is 1 qt (.94L).
