Manual Adjusting of Slat Reel-Fore/Aft

CAUTION: Engine must be off and key removed before working on reel.

NOTE: The reel is easier to move if arms are level.

Raise reel and lower safety stops (A) on both sides.

Remove pin (B) on both sides, slide reel as needed and insert pins. Position both ends of the reel evenly on the support arms. Rotate reel by hand to check clearance with auger fingers and cutterbar.

IMPORTANT: Keep 25 mm (1 in.) minimum clearance between slats and cutterbar and slats and auger fingers across entire width of platform. Less clearance can result in damage to reel slat.
