End of Season Service

1. Clean the platform thoroughly. Chaff and dirt will draw moisture and rust metal.

IMPORTANT: Do not use high pressure washer spray directly on bearings or any other area that might be damaged by water. High pressure water can get past most seals and cause damage. Dry these areas, then lube and run platform.

2. Lubricate platform. Grease threads on adjusting bolts. Release spring tension on slip clutch and apply a coating of grease to slip clutch washers.

3. Loosen cutterbar drive belt (A) and wipe clean with a good non-flammable solvent.

4. Paint all parts where paint is worn.

5. If possible, shelter the platform in a dry place.

causym CAUTION: Support the platform with either the safety stop or with blocks, or lower it to ground level. Lower reel.

6. Clean out between flexible seals and skid shoes.

7. Install header harness (A) into storage cap.

8. Install dust caps on hydraulic lines on both sides of feeder house.
