Chains - Every 200 Hours of Operation

causym CAUTION: Never lubricate chains with engine running.

Lubricate chains every 200 hours of operating with SAE 30 or heavier oil. Run chain before lubricating. A warm chain increases the penetration of oil between pins and bushings. Set parking brake, shut off engine and remove key.

John Deere TY6240 chain lube is available in an aerosol can.
