Adjusting Stabilizer Spring Assembly

Loosen nut (A).

Loosen nuts (B) and turn bolt (C) until bolt length through clevis is 35 mm (1-3/8 in.) (10 mm (3/8 in.) for Argentina platforms).

Tighten nuts (B) until spring is 110 mm (4-3/8 in.) long.

Tighten nut (A).

IMPORTANT: Stabilizer spring and bolt length may need to be readjusted. When cutterbar tilt is changed significantly.

NOTE: When operating in mud or soft ground conditions, it may be necessary to increase bolt length through clevis to reduce ground plowing.
