How the Monitor Works

A-Cleaning Shoe Sensors

B-STS Sensor

C-Right Control Unit (RCU)

D-VISIONTRAK Display

The three sensors detect impacts from grain coming off the cleaning shoe (A) and single tine separator (B) and transmits these impacts as electrical impulses to the RCU (C). The RCU eliminates or "filters out" those signals from straw stems or chaff.

The VISIONTRAK display receives messages from the RCU and displays the loss (cleaning shoe, single tine separator and total loss) on display (D).

Adjustment for grain size lets the display allow for different impulses made by various kernel sizes.
