Left-Hand and Right-Hand Gull Wing Doors

CAUTION: Turn off engine, set park brake and remove key.

To open left-hand doors remove spring clip, and pin (A) from locking plate (B). Reinstall spring clip (C) onto pin. Pull up on latch levers (D), then pull out on gull wing door to raise.

To open right-hand gull wing door, remove spring pin and pin (A) from locking plate (B). Reinstall spring clip (C) into pin. Pull up on latch lever (D), then pull out on gull wing door to raise.

IMPORTANT: Do not use the cylinder (A) as a hand hold or hang anything on these cylinders. This could cause the cylinder rod to bend or break.

In cold weather or in high winds, these gull wing doors may "creep" down. Position stop on rod to hold shield up.
