Adjusting Chopper Vanes

causym CAUTION: Shut off engine, set park brake and remove key.

Adjust vanes (A) to spread material over a wide area but doesn't cover uncut crop.

Loosen nuts (B) and adjust outer vane ends in slots. Tighten nuts.

If chopper has a poor spread pattern, adjust inside vanes (A) 1/4 distance in slots, inner (third from outside) vanes (B) 1/2 distance in slot and outside vanes (C) to full out position.
