VISIONTRAK Performance Monitor (General Information)

The monitor checks grain loss by measuring a representative sample of losses over the cleaning shoe sensors and through the tine separator. A change in loss rate is indicated by the bar graphs (A).

The VISIONTRAK Performance Monitor continuously monitors combine performance to enable the operator to use maximum combine capacity. When the operator has adjusted his combine and header to an acceptable loss level, the total bar graph (B) can be set to the center.

The system can be set into two modes. The standard mode averages the shoe sensors together. The optional mode shows the activity of each individual sensor. These activity indicators will not change sensitivity with a change in the VISIONTRAK system calibration. The total activity indicator shows the total of the seed hits from the three sensors. This total can be adjusted so that normal performance will show the bar mid scale.

The VISIONTRAK Performance Monitor can also be used to detect plugged or closed sieves and chaffers.

A sudden upward movement of the bar graphs when field conditions are unchanged, can indicate the sieve or chaffer are plugged or closed. When this happens, stop the combine and correct the problem.
