1. Hydraulic/Hydrostatic Reservoir. Drain at cap (A). Clean screen and cap (B) and refill. Oil must show above lower sight glass (C) and below upper sight glass (D).

2. Engine Valve Back Lash. Have engine valve back lash checked and adjusted if necessary, by your John Deere dealer.

3. Final Drives (both sides). Remove drain plug (E) to drain. Remove Fill plug (F) to refill until within 12 mm (1/2 in.) of bottom of check hole (G).

4. Engine PTO gear Case Oil. Remove plugs (H) to drain. Refill at dipstick (I).

5. STS Two Speed Drive. Remove protective cap (J) and attach drain hose to drain valve (K). Open valve to drain. Refill at dipstick (L) as needed.

6. Primary Countershaft Gear Case Oil. Remove cap (M) to drain gear case. Refill at dipstick (N).

7. Feeder House Reverser Gear Case. Raise feeder house and lower safety stop. Drain at plug (O) and refill at dipstick hole (P). Check with feeder house raised. Oil level must show on knurled part of dipstick.

8. Transmission. Slide tube (Q) out of block (R). Remove block to drain. Remove check plug (S) and refill to within 12 mm (1/2 in.) of hole.
