Cleaning the Fuel Precleaner Filter
Clean the fuel precleaner filter if buildup is visible on the screen within the clear bowl and or Service Code A00 1347.07 has been generated and can be displayed on the cornerpost.
NOTE:
Do not clean fuel precleaner and change final fuel filter at the same time. Doing so will make it more difficult to restart the machine. Perform this procedure, then run the engine before changing the final filter.

Start engine and run 3 to 5 minutes at low idle if machine had not been previously running.

Shut off engine.

Close fuel shut off at bottom of fuel tank to prevent drain back within supply line.

Thoroughly clean fuel precleaner assembly and surrounding area.
5.
Remove precleaner bowl (A) using a 1-inch socket on bottom of bowl.
6.
Clean the screen and bowl. Inspect the o-ring (B).
7.
Reassemble the parts, fill the bowl with clean fuel and reinstall onto engine.
8.
Open fuel shut off valve and start engine. Allow engine to run 3 to 5 minutes at low idle.
