IMPORTANT: STS Variable Speed Driven and Variable Driver Sheaves: Pump 20 to 25 shots of grease into fitting. DO NOT OVER GREASE.

1. Single Tine Separator Variable Speed Driven Sheaves. Rotate sheaves for fitting access.

2. Single Tine Separator Variable Driver Sheave. Close sheaves (high speed) before greasing fitting in outer sheave hub. Rotate sheave for fitting access. Cycle cylinder speed to distribute grease if drive is operated at high speed all the time.

1. Engine Crankcase Filter and Oil. Remove and replace filter (A) and drain oil at (B). Fill crankcase oil and check at (C).

2. Check front and rear tire pressure and wheel bolt torque. See (Ground Drive and Rear Axle section)

3. Air Conditioning Sight Glass (D). If there are bubbles in sight glass after compressor has run for 30 seconds or more see your John Deere dealer.

4. Feeder House Reverser Gear Case. Raise feeder house and lower safety stop. Oil level must show on knurled part of dipstick.

5. Recirculating Filter. Remove tray, reach in and lift out filter. Clean or replace as needed. Check to make sure air flow arrow points toward front of cab.
