Chopper Door Position

Deflector door (A) must be installed in the middle position for chopping. Put spring loaded pins (B) in holes (C) on both sides of the chopper to hold door in position. This position is acceptable for windrowing.

Deflector door can be raised for access to the tow hook. Put spring loaded pins in holes (D) on both sides of the chopper to hold door in position.

IMPORTANT: Do not harvest crop with door in raised position. Door will prevent crop material from exiting combine.

Deflector door can also be lowered past the middle position for access to the cleaning shoe. Lowering the door will also provide more exit room for straw when windrowing in heavy straw conditions.
