This page shows detailed information about the moisture sensor. This information will help troubleshoot moisture sensor if a problem occurs.

Moisture - Field value shows the average moisture for the selected field.

Header cell shows whether the header is ON and UP, header is ON and DOWN or if header is OFF.

Grain level cell displays a value for the level of grain in moisture sensor as a percentage of full.

Motor cell indicates if the moisture sensor paddle wheel is ON or OFF.

Raw moisture cell shows moisture sensor cell capacitance. Value given in picofarads x 10.

When moisture senor is FULL of grain, raw moisture value is between 700 and 3000. When EMPTY, value is less then 700.

Temperature cell shows temperature in Celsius (Fahrenheit) of grain in moisture sensor. Display setup determines units of measurement.

This cell shows cell oscillator frequency in Hz.

This cell shows reference oscillator frequency in HZ.

This cell shows difference between raw moisture and two consecutive samples.

NOTE: To change from English to Metric measurements, refer to GREENSTAR DISPLAY in GREENSTAR Display Setup section.

Speed cell shows ground speed of combine, which comes from combine tachometer, in kilometers per hour (mile per hour). Display setup determines measurements units.

Empty moisture sensor cell will empty grain from moisture sensor. Press G to empty all grain from sensor.
