Display Screens

Warning screens and alarms provide operator alerts to monitor system operational problems.

NOTE: When the warning screen appears, corrective action should be taken before continuing operation.

Warning and alarms will NOT prevent the combine from starting, operating or recording data.

Each warning screen displays a specific operational problem and recommended corrective action.

NOTE: The RUN, SETUP, and INFO buttons will not be active during this display.

Full page warning will override any other display function in progress.

The audible alarm will sound at the highest level. If a CAUTION or ADVISORY alarm is in progress when a full page warning occurs, that alarm will be interrupted and the full page warning alarm will sound.

Cautions are displayed at the bottom of RUN pages or as a full screen display of the GREENSTAR display is not a RUN page.

NOTE: Display screen "Symptoms" refer to illustration labeled with a letter. See DISPLAY SCREEN ILLUSTRATIONS in this group to view each specific Symptom.

Data network error warning screen (refer to illustration A).

Data network communication problem.

Check all connections indicated on screen.

Cycle power.

If problem persists, see your John Deere dealer.

PC Card error warning screen (refer to illustration B).

Mobile processor does not recognize PC Card in slot.

Verify that PC Card is securely in slot (black eject button should be popped up).

PC Card out of memory warning screen (refer to illustration C).

PC Card is almost out of capacity.

Unload PC Card and perform desktop software clean PC Card utility.

Communication problem warning screen (refer to illustration D).

Data network communication problem.

Cycle power, if problem persists see your John Deere dealer.

GREENSTAR display not communicating warning screen (refer to illustration E).

GREENSTAR display is not communicating with mobile processor.

Cycle power, if problem persists see your John Deere dealer.

GREENSTAR display not communicating (refer to illustration F).

GREENSTAR display is not communicating with moisture sensor or mobile processor.

Cycle power, if problem persists see your John Deere dealer.

Program not found warning screen (refer to illustration G).

Programs are not found on PC Card.

Verify that PC Card is in slot 'A" and not slot "B".

Verify that programs are in correct directory on PC Card.

No communication screen (refer to illustration H).

Position receiver communication problem.

Check all connections indicated on screen.

Cycle power, if problem persists see your John Deere dealer.

Check operator is in correct farm and field (refer to illustration I).

System reminder to make certain that operator is in correct farm and field.

Change farm and/or field on SETUP - PAGE 1.

Battery voltage low (refer to illustration J).

Battery voltage too low at mobile processor.

Check battery voltage.

If problem persists, see your John Deere dealer.

Battery voltage low at mobile processor (refer to illustration K)

Battery voltage too low.

Check battery voltage.

Low elevator speed warning screen (refer to illustration L).

Recording stopped, no elevator rpm, recording yield equals 0, and elevator sensor not working.

Slow combine down and allow engine rpm to catch up.

If problem persists, see your John Deere dealer.

Yield mapping warning screen (refer to illustration M).

Mobile processor not working.

Check all connections.

Cycle power, if problem persists see your John Deere dealer.

Recording warning screen (refer to illustration N).

Recording is off.

Set Record Set Height on SETUP - Yield Map - PAGE 3.
