DIAL-A-SPEED™

The knob controls the ratio of the speed of reel to ground speed.

To operate, start engine and drive forward with separator and header engaged. Enable DIAL-A-SPEED button on ACTIVE HEADER CONTROL display and turn DIAL-A-SPEED knob clockwise until ratio of 3 is displayed. Watch speed of reel and adjust knob until desired ratio to ground speed is achieved. Reel will now speed up or slow down in relation to ground speed.

This automatic control will not work if ground speed is less than 2.9 km/h (1.3 mph). When driving combine slowly through a down and lodged crop, temporarily shut off this switch and use manual reel speed switch.

To change minimum speed, turn knob counterclockwise until ratio of 0 is displayed. Hold manual switch to get desired minimum reel speed. Return ratio knob to prior setting and return to operating. This minimum speed is kept until operator sets new minimum speed.
