Removing Header from Feeder House
CAUTION:
Do not leave drive shafts on combine. Personal injury or machine damage may occur if feeder house is accidentally engaged.
Disconnect telescoping drive shaft from feeder house at the quick disconnect coupler (A) on left-hand side of feeder house.
Place telescoping drive shaft in storage position (B).
IMPORTANT:
Latch pins are not to be actuated with header on the ground. If multi-coupler must be actuated with header on ground, unhook cable from handle.
NOTE:
Latch pins should be fully retracted when handle is all the way up against the stop. Adjust cable mounting if latch pins are not fully retracted (adjustment is made with two jam nuts at the cable mounting).
Manually unlatching feeder house pins may be required for some combines, see Attaching/Detaching 600 R and F Platforms to 50 series and Older and Combines Without Latching Cable in this section.
Disconnect multi-coupler from combine and place in storage position (C).
