Bleeding HYDRAFLEX System (Flex Platforms)

Attach head to combine (see Attaching and Detaching section of this manual).

Lower platform completely on ground, turn OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

Turn knob (A) and open left-hand end shield (B).

NOTE: Attach a hose on fitting and use a bucket to capture fluid when bleeding the system.

Thoroughly clean area around fitting (C).

CAUTION: Avoid injury, HYDRAFLEX system has an accumulator (stored pressure in system). HYDRAFLEX hydraulic pressure must be decreased to 0 kPa (0 psi) before servicing.

Sound horn, start engine, press minus symbol of button (D) to reduce HYDRAFLEX pressure to 0 kPa (0 psi).

Loosen fitting (C).

NOTE: Do Not Attempt; bleeding HYDRAFLEX system at other locations and without pressure decreased to 0 kPa (0 psi).

Activate HYDRAFLEX system and hold (+) symbol on HYDRAFLEX pressure switch (D) until HYDRAFLEX system is free of air.

IMPORTANT: Fitting must be tight or air will get into system again.

Tighten fitting and close end shield.
