Crop Lifter Adjustments

IMPORTANT: For crop lifter to function properly, bottom of arm surface must be parallel to ground when platform is in cutting position. Failure to set properly will lead to poor performance and/or guard or lifter damage.

NOTE: If platform tilt adjustment is in an extreme position, proper crop lifter orientation may not be achievable. Readjust platform tilt to a more normal setting.

Lower platform until lifter is just off the surface of the ground. In this position, lifter arm portion between (A) and (B) should be parallel to the ground as shown. If it is not, change position of retainer clip (C) until correct orientation is achieved.

IMPORTANT: Never operate a crop lifter with point angled downward (A). Crop lifter will dig into the ground and damage could result.

Operating crop lifter with an extreme downward angle (A) will cause lifter to dig into the ground.

Change position of the retainer clip (B) until correct orientation is achieved.

Operating crop lifter with an extreme upward angle (A) will reduce lifting performance and may cause lifter to climb over down crop.

Change position of retainer clip (B) until correct orientation is achieved.
