Remove Knife Drive Belt From Drive Sheave

NOTE: The auger and cutterbar have a common drive, disengage knife drive belt before adjusting, servicing/inspecting or rotating the auger.

Knife drive belt removes easier with platform lowered completely onto ground.

1. Lower platform completely onto ground.

2. Set parking brake, turn OFF engine and remove key.

3. Open left-hand shield.

4. Lift up on tensioner handle (A) and remove belt (B) from drive sheave (C).
