Adjusting Rear Stripper

CAUTION: Avoid serious injury. Raise platform and reel completely, set safety stops.

CAUTION: Avoid serious injury. Shut off engine and remove key.

CAUTION: Avoid serious injury from cutterbar movement when auger is turned. Remove knife drive belt (see Remove Knife Drive Belt From Drive Sheave section).

If auger is too far from stripper, material can be carried around auger and will not be evenly fed into feeder house.

The rear of strippers must be aligned with feeder house opening. See CHECK AUGER STRIPPER LOCATION in "Attaching and Detaching" section.

Adjust stripper clearance with platform fully raised.

Loosen screws (A) and slide stripper so there is 3 mm (1/8 in.) clearance between auger and stripper. Rotate auger by hand to check clearance as screws are tightened.

The adjustable stripper bars are reversible to provide additional wear life.
