Beginning of Season Service
1.
Clean platform thoroughly.
2.
Install knife drive belft and check belt tension, adjust if required (see Remove Knife Drive Belt From Drive Sheave section).
3.
Adjust chain and check tension.
4.
Lubricate platform.
5.
Go over platform and see that all bolts are tight and cotter pins are spread.
6.
Run platform at half-speed for a few minutes. Check bearings for overheating or looseness. Slip clutch must operate freely.
7.
Review your Operator's Manual.
