Chaffer Calibration (Optional)-Component Replacement
This procedure must be used when the actuator or element has been replaced. It should also be used after the actuator is removed from the element.
NOTE:
Element play will prevent correct calibration if the chaffer is not closed first, then opened to 5 mm (3/16 in.).
Use remote chaffer adjust switch or actuator manual adjustment knob to fully close, then open chaffer to 5 mm (3/16 in.)

Press the diagnostic switch. dIA will appear on the triple display tachometer.

Press up arrow to select C03.

NOTE:
0221 is for standard chaffer elements and 0331 is for deep tooth chaffer elements.
Press up arrow until 132 is displayed. Confirm that the correct numbers are displayed on the second line.

Press the up or down arrow switch until E04 appears on the tachometer.

Press the up or down arrow switch until 108 appears on the tachometer.

Press enter switch. OP5 will appear on triple display tachometer.

NOTE:
While HOLd is displayed on the triple display tachometer the chaffer element is calibrating itself.
Press calibration switch. HOLd will be displayed on middle line of tachometer.

HOLd will change to EOC when calibration is complete.

When EOC is displayed on the triple display tachometer press the enter switch. Calibration for chaffer is now complete.
