Accessing Diagnostic Trouble Codes and Addresses

Each control unit is represented by an address:

  • ALL-All Control Units
  • A00-Engine Control Unit
  • C00-Armrest Control Unit
  • C03-Cornerpost Control Unit
  • E00-Tailings Master Sensor
  • E01-Header Control Unit
  • E02-Right Control Unit
  • E03-Left Control Unit
  • E04-Left Control Unit 2

1. Select Diagnostic Mode:

  • Turn the key switch to the "RUN" position.
  • Press diagnostic switch on triple display tachometer.
  • dIA will appear on the triple display tachometer.

2. Select desired control unit:

  • Press the up or down arrow keys to obtain the desired address. For example A00 appears on triple display tachometer.

3. Press enter button.

4. Determine if codes are available:

  • Press the up or down arrow keys once.
  • If diagnostic trouble codes are available, A00 and codE will appear on triple display tachometer.
  • If no diagnostic trouble codes are available, A00 and nonE will appear on triple display tachometer.

5. Read and record diagnostic trouble codes:

  • Press enter button.
  • Press the up or down arrow keys to scroll through the diagnostic codes.
  • Record each control name (A00, E00, E01, etc. A00 shown).
  • Record each suspected parameter number (SPN) (100002,639, 200000, etc, - 1493 shown).
  • Record each failure mode identifier (FMI) (.04, .13, .04, etc. - .11 shown).

NOTE: Priority 1 codes cannot be cleared until the problem is solved.

6. After all codes have been displayed, there is an option to clear these codes:

  • Scroll to end of code list until CLr? is displayed.
  • Press the enter button to clear codes. A00 and donE will appear on triple display tachometer.

7. Return to operating mode:

  • Press back arrow switch three times to return to normal operation.
