Cleaning Fan Speed Actuator-Adjusting

causym CAUTION: Shut off engine, set parking brake and remove key.

1. Adjust inner nuts (A) inward to end of threads next to gear. Adjust outer nuts (B) to outside end of shaft.

2. Start engine. Engage separator. Adjust fan speed to 1200 rpm. Disengage separator.

3. Stop engine and remove key.

4. Adjust the two inner nuts against trunnion (C).

5. Start engine, engage separator and adjust fan speed to 500 rpm. Disengage separator.

6. Stop engine and remove key.

7. Adjust the two outer nuts against trunnion.
