Adjusting Standard PERMA-GLIDE™ Divider Point Height

Adjust to proper cutterbar tilt (see Adjusting PlatformTilt on Pre 60 Series Machines in this section).

Lower platform to the ground.

1. Loosen jam nut (A).

NOTE: Set spring tension so that divider is light but still returns to ground on it's own:

2. Adjust bolt (B) to desired spring tension.

3. Repeat for other divider point.

NOTE: In softer ground the divider may need to be adjusted upward to avoid plowing.

Adjust divider point height so tip is positioned just above soil when platform is in operating position:

1. Loosen jam nut (A).

2. Turn adjusting bolt (B) until desired height is obtained.

3. Tighten jam nut.

4. Repeat for other divider point.
