Crop Lifters (Attachment, Rigid Only)

IMPORTANT: Slots on spool nuts (B) are off center. Install all spool nuts in same direction along cutterbar.

Crop lifters (A) may be installed along cutterbar for down and tangled crops.

Install spool nuts (B) under each knife guard tip (C) with hardware (D) located directly behind it.

Slide crop lifter with its retainer (E) over knife guard tip and guide rear end of strap into spool nut.

Retain crop lifter (A) with spring pin (F) in bore (2) above knife guard.

IMPORTANT: Check that crop lifters are correctly adjusted by lowering cutting platform onto a flat surface. Crop lifters should touch the ground when skid plates are 50-100 mm (2-4 in.) above the ground (Platform Tilt should be verified first see Platform Tilt in Operating the Platform section).

To adjust crop lifter height, change position of crop lifter by using bores (1) or (3) to secure spring pin (E), for proper procdures see Crop Lifter Adjustments in Rigid Platform Adjustments section..
