causym CAUTION: High-pressure fluid remaining in fuel lines can cause serious injury. Before disconnecting fuel lines, sensors, or any other components between the high-pressure fuel pump and nozzles on engines with High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system, wait a minimum of 15 minutes after engine is stopped.

Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key before performing maintenance work on fuel filter.

1. Precleaner Filter - Close fuel tank shut off valve. Remove precleaner filter (A) and clean screen. Install precleaner filter and open fuel tank shut off valve and allow bowl to fill (see Cleaning the Precleaner Filter in Service the Engine section.)

2. Secondary Fuel Filter - Replace secondary fuel filter (B) when a performance decline is noticed or service code A00 1347.07 is generated. Drain secondary fuel filter. Remove and discard secondary fuel filter. Fill secondary fuel filter using provided filler cup and install fuel filter (see Replacing the Secondary Fuel Filter in Service the Engine section.)

Primary Fuel Filter - Replace primary fuel filter (C) when a performance decline is noticed or service code A00 1347.07 is generated. Disconnect water sensor from primary fuel filter. Drain primary fuel filter. Remove and discard secondary fuel filter. Fill primary fuel filter using provided filler cup and install fuel filter (see Replacing the Primary Fuel Filter in Service the Engine section.)

3. Moisture Sensor - Clean out moisture sensor when operating in weedy or green crops. Remove cover and cleanout moisture sensor.

4. Fuel Tank Breather - Remove and replace fuel tank breather (D).
