1.
Transmission - Slide tube (A) out of block (B). Remove block to drain. Remove check plug (C) and refill to within 12 mm (1/2 in.) of hole.
2.
Engine Valve Back Lash - After 2000 hours of operation have engine valve back lash checked and adjusted if necessary, by your John Deere dealer.
NOTE:
Approximately 35 L (9.3 gal) will drain from hydraulic reservoir when hose is removed.

Hydraulic/Hydrostatic Reservoir - Remove hydraulic hose (D) from feeder house reverser valve to drain reservoir. Clean screen and cap (E) and refill. Oil level must be at top of sight glass (F).

Engine PTO gear Case Oil - Drain at plugs (G) Refill and check oil level at dipstick (H).
5.
Single Tine Separator Two Speed Drive - Remove protective cap (I) and attach drain hose to drain valve (J). Open valve to drain. Refill at dipstick (K) as needed.
6.
Primary Countershaft Gear Case - Drain at cap (L) and refill at dipstick (M). Oil level must show on knurled part of dipstick.
7.
Final Drives (both sides) - Remove drain plug (N) to drain. Remove fill plug (O) to refill until oil level is within 12 mm (1/2 in.) of bottom check hole (P).
