Float Calibration

The float calibration procedure must be performed when a header is initially hooked up if the ground pressure (float) mode of operation will be used. This procedure calibrates the header pressure sensor.

Prepare Header for Calibration:

  • Turn key switch to "RUN" position
  • Attach header to combine and connect header harness
  • Move machine onto a level surface
  • Raise header completely

Press up or down arrow button to access FLO calibration mode. CAL and FLO will be displayed.

With header raise/lower switch (A), lower header until cutterbar is about 100 mm (3.94 in.) above ground level (header must not touch ground).

Press calibration button (header must not touch ground) to record float calibration level. FLO and EOC will be displayed.

If header touches ground, press back arrow button to abort calibration (not save values). Start calibration procedure again.

Press enter button to store float calibration pressure in header controller. CAL and FLO will be displayed.

Press back arrow button to return to normal operation.
