Break-In Check After 100 Hours

Drain crankcase oil by opening drain (A) and close once oil has been drained.

Remove and dispose of oil filter (B) properly.

Clean filter mount base, apply oil to gasket and install new filter element. Hand tighten only.

Fill crankcase with proper amount of engine oil. (See Diesel Engine Oil in the Fuel And Lubricants section for proper oil specification).

IMPORTANT: If diesel fuel sulfur content exceeds 0.7 percent, change oil every 100 hours.
