VISIONTRAK Tailings Monitor Calibration
Tailings monitor (A) indicates the volume of material in the tailings elevator using lasers and detectors.
Sensors determine the average amount of material in the elevator by the amount of light being blocked by material. The master tailings sensor sends a message to the VISIONTRAK display.
Tailings elevator is re-zeroed every time separator is engaged at high engine idle for 2 minutes without feeder house being engaged. This reoccurs and is stored every 3 seconds until feeder house is engaged.
NOTE:
Sensitivity of the tailings elevator volume calibration is affected by the seed size selected for the grain loss monitor.
Scaling of the tailings monitor can be altered through the diagnostic system on the cornerpost.
