Header Engage Switch and Feeder House Reverser Switch (Yellow)IMPORTANT: When reversing header, allow header to come to a complete stop before re-engaging. Header engage switch allows the header drive to be turned ON or OFF. Push down and forward to lock switch in the ON position. Pull back to turn OFF. NOTE: When feeder house reverser is engaged, the reel also moves in the reverse direction. This helps to pull crop material away from the feeder house. Feeder house reverser switch allows the feeder house to be reversed to help aid in removing the plug. Push down and pull back on switch. Hold switch until feeder house is clear of plug. Road transport disconnect switch (A) must be in the field position for both of these functions to work. Header engage switch and feeder house reverser switch must be OFF to start combine. Header drive can be shut OFF with Quick Stop switch located on top of the multifunction control handle. To re-engage header drive or unloading auger if Quick Stop switch was used, turn switch OFF and back ON. Operator must be seated for header to operate. If operator leaves the seat after engagement, header will continue to operate for five seconds before it disengages. To re-engage, sit in the operator's seat, turn switch OFF and back ON. If header fails to engage or stops unexpectedly, sit squarely on the seat, turn switch OFF, then push down and forward to re-engage. |
