HEADERTRAK - Stubble Height Control-HYDRAFLEX™ Platforms (If Equipped)

HEADERTRAK - Stubble Height Control-HYDRAFLEX allows the operator to select the cutterbar ground pressure and return to that ground pressure automatically. HYDRAFLEX works in conjunction with HEADERTRAK - Stubble Height Control to maintain a header position relative to the ground, follow the ground contour, and return to that position automatically. It uses sensors to measure the position of the header in relation to the ground.

HEADERTRAK - Stubble Height Control-HYDRAFLEX must be calibrated each time the header is used with the combine (see Calibration Procedures section).

Activation buttons 1, 2 or 3 located on the multifunction control handle are used to select one of three different programmed HYDRAFLEX pressures.

NOTE: If both Return to Cut and Stubble Height Control are enabled activation button 1 will activate Return to Cut. Activation buttons 2 and 3 will be assigned to Stubble Height Control.

Operation:

HEADERTRAK- Stubble Height-HYDRAFLEX will be active when:

  • Properly equipped header is connected to combine
  • Engine is running
  • Road transport disconnect switch is in field position
  • HEADERTRAK - Stubble Height-HYDRAFLEX is enabled
  • Header is engaged

The system is enabled by pressing button (A) on the display. Symbol (B) will appear on the display.

Activate HEADERTRAK - Stubble Height Control-HYDRAFLEX by pressing activation buttons 1, 2 or 3 on the multifunction control handle. Arrow symbols (C) indicate the system is active.

Number (D) in the lower left corner of the display indicates which activation button was selected.

To change the HYDRAFLEX pressure setpoint (E) of the activation buttons, press the desired activation button and adjust the pressure using stubble height and ground pressure control dial (F) to change the pressure setpoint. The change in the pressure setpoint will not change the height of the cutting platform.

Turn stubble height and ground pressure control dial towards the plus (+) symbol to increase the HYDRAFLEX pressure and setpoint or towards the minus (-) symbol to lower the HYDRAFLEX pressure and setpoint.

Bar graph (G) and numeric display (H) show the relative position of HYDRAFLEX pressure.

Manually adjusting header height using header raise/lower switch (I) or tilting header to the left/right will deactivate the system.

Press any of the activation buttons to reactivate the system. Header will move to the pre-selected height.

The system can be disabled by pressing button (A) on the display.
