Chopper Vanes-Adjusting

causym CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

NOTE: If factory vanes do not produce adequate spread width or even distribution, adjustments can be made to the linkage components.

Chopper vanes can be individually moved by relocating bolt on adjuster linkage bar. Move vanes inward for a narrower spread pattern. Factory settings are based on a 9.1 m (30 ft.) platform.

Electrical Adjustment

Chopper vanes are adjusted centrally by means of electric motor (A).

Vane adjustments are made from the operator's cab with chopper vane adjust switch (A).

If the wind is blowing from the side, set chopper vanes against the wind to prevent the standing crop from becoming covered with chopped material.
