Moving Chopper to Drop Straw Position

CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

NOTE: Door can only be opened when chopper is in chopping position.

Open door (A) and disengage claw clutch (B) (this activates sensor (C) and must be done before moving chopper).

Close and lock door.

IMPORTANT: Chopper knives will be damaged if separator is started with clutch engaged and chopper is in drop straw position.

Switch (A) located on left-hand side sheet above rear axle, moves the chopper rearward and forward. Push switch up to move chopper rearward.

Move chopper until rear diode (B) illuminates. Wait three seconds to verify that electric actuator (C) is fully extended on both sides of machine.

Chaff spreader will change directions and speed automatically.

Chaff material will now be spread to the sides.
