Moving Chopper to Chopping Position

CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

Switch (A) located on left-hand side sheet above rear axle, moves the chopper rearward and forward. Push down to move chopper forward.

Move chopper until front diode (B) illuminates and wait three seconds to verify that electric actuator (C) is fully retracted on both sides of machine.

IMPORTANT: If electric actuator is not fully retracted, chopper knives will be damaged.

Open door (A) and engage claw clutch (B).

Close and lock door.

Chaff spreader will change direction and speed automatically.

Chaff will be spread into chopper tailboard and air stream from chaff spreader will increase spreading width of straw from the chopper.
