Chopper Vanes For Different Header Widths-Changing

causym CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

NOTE: This procedure will show what is needed when changing from a 9.1 m (30 ft.) header to a 7.6 m (25 ft.) header.

If spread width is to wide and/or is spread pattern is uneven, it is possible to replace four chopper vanes on the tailboard. These four additional chopper vanes will need to be ordered, see your John Deere dealer.

Remove inside chopper vanes (A) and outside chopper vanes (B).

Move left-hand chopper vanes (A) outward one hole and move right-hand chopper vanes (B) outward one hole.
