Chaffer/Sieve Elements With (Optional) TOUCHSET Automatic Combine Adjustment (ACA)-Removing

causym CAUTION: Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key to help prevent accidental starting and personal injury.

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove straw chopper (if equipped) to remove chaffer. Chopper must be in fully raised position.

1. If equipped with straw chopper, remove cap screws (A) and air chutes (B) from both sides.

2. Raise spreader (if equipped) and remove quick-lock pins (B).

3. Remove spreader disks (A).

4. Disconnect electrical harness (A).

5. Remove cap screws (A) and cover to access chaffer motor.

NOTE: Chaffer motor does not have to be removed.

6. Remove cap screws (A) (both sides) and chaffer.

7. Remove cap screws (A) and shield.

8. Sieve removal is similar to chaffer procedure.

9. Install in reverse order.
