Threshing Slow Speed Indicator
When yellow indicator light comes ON a problem exists with the threshing rotor speed. A buzzer will sound when the threshing rotor speed has slowed to 80% of the programmed speed. Engine must be running, header drive must be ON, and separator drive must be above 90 rpm.
Stop engine and check separator for plugging. Sensor located at the front of the threshing rotor bearing should be a half turn from contacting the tone wheel.
If light stays ON, see your John Deere dealer.
NOTE:
Indicator light will not come ON when reducing engine speed to low idle. Engine speed must be steady when threshing rotor speed drops for warning light to come ON.
