Transporting Combine on a Trailer
CAUTION:
Avoid collisions with other roadway users. Before transporting on a public roadway check and follow local regulations regarding the use of lights, flags, over-width signs, pilot vehicles and other requirements for wide loads.
1.
Empty grain tank and swing unloading auger to storage position.
2.
If equipped with power folding auger use switch to fold unloading auger rearward to transport position.
3.
Remove header and outside dual wheels (if equipped).

4.
Standard Grain Tank:
a.
If equipped with grain tank extensions, remove quick-lock pin (A) from grain tank extensions (B).
b.
Fold extension to reduce overall height.

It is important to fold front and rear grain tank extensions first, then fold left-hand and right-hand grain tank extensions last to reduce height.

5.
Remove quick-lock pin (A) and grain sample trough.
6.
Place grain sample trough in storage position (B).
7.
Release clamps (C) and lower auger.
8.
Drive combine on trailer and put multifunction control handle in neutral.
9.
Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.
10.
Fold radio antenna down.
11.
Swing cab ladder to the full forward position.

Retrieve cap screw (B), washer (C), spacer (D), and washer (E) from tool box.
b.
Install hardware as shown to retain unloading auger.
