Transporting Combine on a Trailer
1. Empty grain tank and swing unloading auger to storage position. 2. If equipped with power folding auger use switch to fold unloading auger rearward to transport position. 3. Remove header and outside dual wheels (if equipped). |

Avoid collisions with other roadway users. Before transporting on a public roadway check and follow local regulations regarding the use of lights, flags, over-width signs, pilot vehicles and other requirements for wide loads.

Standard Grain Tank:
a. If equipped with grain tank extensions, remove quick-lock pin (A) from grain tank extensions (B). b. Fold extension to reduce overall height.

High Unload Rate Grain Tank: a. If equipped with grain tank extensions, remove quick-lock pin (A) from grain tank extensions (B).

NOTE: It is important to fold front and rear grain tank extensions first, then fold left-hand and right-hand grain tank extensions last to reduce height. b. Fold front and rear grain tank extensions, then fold left-hand and right hand grain tank extensions (if equipped).

Remove quick-lock pin (A) and grain sample trough.
6. Place grain sample trough in storage position (B). 7. Release clamps (C) and lower auger. 8. Drive combine on trailer and put multifunction control handle in neutral. 9. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key. 10. Fold radio antenna down. 11. Swing cab ladder to the full forward position.

Lower and latch engine access doors (A) and lower handrail (B).
13. Tape muffler cap (C) closed to prevent damage to turbocharger.

14. Standard Grain Tank: a. Retrieve cap screw (B), washer (C), spacer (D), and washer (E) from tool box. b. Install hardware as shown to retain unloading auger.

High Unload Rate Grain Tank (Optional): a. Retrieve pin (B) and spring pin (C) from combine box. b. Install hardware as shown to retain unloading auger.

Remove hardware (A) and remove cable (B) from storage position.

Verify cable (A) is installed on inside of handrail (B).

Install cable (A) and retain with spring pin (B).

Wire down ladder extension and platform (A).

Make sure that pin (A) is installed through locking plate (B) and retained with spring pin at front corner of right-hand gull wing door and door latch (C) is fully engaged.
20. Wire down door at latch (C).

Make sure pins (A) are installed through locking plates (B) and retained with spring pins at front and rear corners of left-hand gull wing doors and door latch (C) is fully engaged.
22. Wire down door at latches (C).

Swing left-hand and right-hand warning light (A) rearward.

Cover up slow moving vehicle emblem (A).
IMPORTANT: Fasten combine to trailer with chains. 25. Fasten combine to trailer with chains (see Combine Tie Down Location Decal located on the cab ladder for tie down information).
