causym CAUTION: High-pressure fluid remaining in fuel lines can cause serious injury. Before disconnecting fuel lines, sensors, or any other components between the high-pressure fuel pump and nozzles on engines with High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system, wait a minimum of 15 minutes after engine is stopped.

Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key before performing maintenance work on fuel filter.

1. Precleaner Filter - Close fuel tank shut off valve. Remove precleaner filter (A) and clean screen.

Install precleaner filter and open fuel tank shut off valve and allow bowl to fill (see Cleaning the Precleaner Filter in Service the Engine section.)

2. Engine Secondary Fuel Filter

a. 8. 1 L Engine Secondary Fuel Filter - Replace secondary fuel filter (B) when a performance decline is noticed or service code ECU/A00 1347. 07 is generated. Remove fuel from filter and discard secondary fuel filter. Fill fuel filter using provided filler cup and install fuel filter (see Replacing the Secondary Fuel Filter in Service the Engine section. )

Primary Fuel Filter - Replace primary fuel filter (C) when a performance decline is noticed or service code ECU/A00 1347.07 is generated. Disconnect water sensor from primary fuel filter. Remove fuel from filter and discard primary fuel filter. Fill fuel filter using provided filler cup and install fuel filter (see Replacing the Primary Fuel Filter in Service the Engine section.)

b. 9. 0 L Engine Secondary Fuel Filter - Replace secondary fuel filter (B) when a performance decline is noticed or service code ECU/A00 1347. 07 is generated. Remove fuel from filter and discard secondary fuel filter. Install new secondary fuel filter (see Replacing the Secondary Fuel Filter in Service the Engine section. )

Primary Fuel Filter - Replace primary fuel filter (C) when a performance decline is noticed or service code ECU/A00 1347.07 is generated. Disconnect water sensor from primary fuel filter. Remove fuel from filter and discard primary fuel filter. Install new primary fuel filter and turn key switch ON to prime fuel system (see Replacing the Primary Fuel Filter in Service the Engine section.)

3. Moisture Sensor - Clean out moisture sensor when operating in weedy or green crops. Remove cover and cleanout moisture sensor.

4. Fuel Tank Breather - Remove and replace fuel tank breather (D).
