CAUTION: Never check or adjust belt drives with engine running. Shut OFF engine, set parking brake and remove key.

Check all spring loaded belt idler adjustments after the first 50 hours of operation. Most belt stretch will occur during the first hours of service.

After initial adjustments, check belt adjustment as required. Spring tension should be maintained within 3 mm (1/8 in.) of the gauge setting.
