Header Calibration

Header calibration must be performed when header is first used with combine or when any of sensors are replaced. Height Resume sensor must be operating.

Prepare header for calibration:

• Attach header to combine and connect header harness
• Make sure header height sensors (if equipped) are operating
• Start combine and drive onto a level firm surface

Press diagnostic button. dIA will be displayed.

Press calibration button. CAL and conc will be displayed.

Press up or down arrow button until CAL and hdr appear on display.

Press enter button to access header calibration mode. hdr and H-dn (P-dn will appear for a HYDRAFLEX head that has pressure in it) will be displayed.

Establish sensor minimum setting.

Lower and tilt header with header raise/lower and tilt switch (A) until header rests flat on the ground.

If H-dn is displayed, go to next step.

If P-dn is displayed, decrease HYDRAFLEX pressure with the HYDRAFLEX button until pressure is below 1000 psi (6900 kPa) (69 bar).

HYDRAFLEX pressure will be displayed as the pressure is lowered.

H-dn will appear when pressure is below 1000 psi (6900 kPa) (69 bar).

Press calibration button. hdr and H-UP will be displayed.

Establish sensor maximum setting.

Raise header completely with header raise/lower switch (A).

Press calibration button. EOC will be displayed.

Press enter button to store calibration value and return to normal operation or press back arrow button to abort calibration (not save values).

Press back arrow button to return to normal operation.
