HARVESTSMART Feed Rate Control-Operating System Modes

Smart Mode: When HARVESTSMART system is in SMART mode it monitors the loss level on the VISIONTRAK system to ensure that it is at the operator designated level (as set when loss monitor is calibrated). The system is set when the calibration button on VISIONTRAK display is pressed. When loss monitor levels are consistently above or below the operator desired levels, the system increases or decreases the material flow levels, bringing loss levels back into desired range.

NOTE: SMART mode is the preferred method for controlling HARVESTSMART Feed Rate Control.

Capacity (CPCTY) Mode: When HARVESTSMART system is in capacity (CPCTY) mode, the system maintains a constant material flow allowing the machine to increase ground speed when crop materials are lighter and decrease ground speed when crop material are heavier. Capacity (CPCTY) mode does not adjust VISIONTRAK settings, since the mode is only maintaining a constant material flow.

NOTE: Capacity (CPCTY) mode should only be used when VISIONTRAK loss monitor is not reliable (example sensors are matting over with crop material).
