IMPORTANT: Change oil every 100 hours if fuel is more than 0.5 % sulfur.

Fill crankcase with seasonal viscosity grade oil or TORQ-GARD SUPREME ™ (250 hours change interval). If using PLUS-50 ™ oil and a John Deere filter, service interval can be extended by 50 percent. Example: 250 Hours extends to 375 Hours.

Do not operate engine with oil level below low mark on dipstick.

1. Engine Crank Case Filter Top Load Oil Filter - Remove cap (A) and remove old filter. Replace with

new filter and install cap and tighten to specifications. Open drain (B) to remove oil.

Specification

Top Load Cap -Torque 40 N·m (30 lb-ft)

2. Remove dipstick (C) to fill and check.

3. Fuel Tank Breather - Visually inspect fuel tank breather (D). Do not allow excessive amounts of chaff to collect of breather. Remove fuel tank breather from hose (E) and clean.
