Remove/Install Oil and Oil Pan

NOTE: Place a pan under drain plug to capture oil.

Dispose of oil properly, do not reuse.

Remove drain plug (A).

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage to reusable seal on pan. Do not use sharp objects to pry between pan and corn head.

Remove cap screws and washers (B) and oil pan (C).

IMPORTANT: Ensure a good seal, clean seal area on pan and corn head with a nonflammable cleaner.

NOTE: When retaining pan with cap screws, start in center and move outward.

Reinstall drain plug (A) retain with cap screws and washers (B).

Remove fill plug (B) from cover (A).

IMPORTANT: Oil level should be checked with corn head on combine and row unit skids touching ground (approximately a 25 degree angle).

NOTE: Pan capacity: 0.75 L (1qt) 80/90 weight gear oil or until level with bottom of plug.

Fill pan with oil until, level with bottom of plug (B).

Install plug (B).
